Volume 32, Issue 3, November 2024

We are pleased to present to you G&D's November 2024 Issue on the theme 'Disaster and resilience: intersectional approaches towards establishing resilient communities during crises.'
This special issue is collectively edited by Suranjana Gupta, Gayatri Menon, and Ayse Yonder. Gupta, Menon, and Yonder have, for decades, been involved in supporting local and community-led resilience strategies led by women, building community-based knowledge around disaster and resilience to shape gender-attentive policy, and advocating for sustainable development and community-led climate financing. The contributions span across countries such as India, Bangladesh, Türkiye, Ethiopia, Brazil, Guatemala, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Philippines, USA, and Zimbabwe.
